I have been adding this one to my daily tea & it's so delicious! My partner made a sauce with Hibiscus honey for roasted root veggies, and it was also so delicious!
Hibiscus is a beautiful Flower Medicine that evokes vitality, supporting energy movement to prevent stuck + stagnant energies. Also a diuretic, supporting the waters of the body. Hibiscus also may support liver health, the taste is tarte, which is the taste associated with the Liver in TCM.
And of course, we all know Rose Medicine. Quintessential Heart Medicine. Rose also are astringent, and cooling - easing hot, inflamed conditions + tissues.
This honey is especially supportive for the throat & respiratory tract, acting as a demulcent & soothing the mucous membranes while also cooling any inflammation associated with cough, colds, as well as smoke inhalation/pollution.
You can work with this honey any way you'd work with other honey. Adding it to teas, or mixed into warm coconut milk for an easy & medicinal herbal latte. Or enjoyed right off the spoon! Also delicious added to foods or as a sauce base. The honey is smooth and so delicious. Also yummy as a treat drizzled over Strawberries & Cacao or any way you feel called. Yum!
