Walk in Beauty {Plant infused} collagen support Serum
Walk in Beauty {Plant infused} collagen support Serum
Walk in Beauty is a dream formula that has been experimented with & perfected over the course of a year. Created to offer healthy aging support, boosted collagen production, anti-inflammatory actions, and deeply moisturizing effects. *Due to being small batch & seasonal, the medicines shift each year. The Tulsi is stronger in this years batch!
A magical blend that began infusing at the peak of Summer. With Plants from the Medicine garden, small herb farms & resins. A blend of Gotu Kola, Burdock, Holy Basil & gifted Myrrh resin. With oils of Jojoba, Sweet Almond, Carrot Seed, Sunflower, and Sea Buckthorn. This serum is luxurious, and deeply revitalizing to the skin. I'm so glad to have it back in my personal collection for Winter!
Moisturizing. Revitalizing. Nourishing. Glowing. Healthy aging. Collagen boosting. Protecting. Strengthening the skin barrier.
Offers a beautiful glow & smoothing to the skin. Over time may offer fine line & wrinkle smoothing effects {as well as remembering age is a gift and each line tells a story, xo}
Handmade. Vegan. Garden or small farm grown + Organic.
ABOUT THE INGREDIENTS:
Gotu Kola may support the skin's production of collagen & reduce inflammation. They are helpful for acne prone skin, as well as other skin conditions such as Rosacea. Gotu Kola is also an adaptogenic plant ally, with high amounts of anti-oxidants - offering protection from environmental stress on the skin. As well as boosting circulation. They also have been shown to provide increased hydration levels to the skin.
Holy Basil, Tulsi, is one of my favorite Plant medicines. They are also a potent adaptogenic ally, and overall longevity tonic. They are antimicrobial, which may be supportive for skin conditions such as acne. I find they offer a balanced flora & ph to the skin. Tulsi also potentially prevents tumorigenesis & offers some free radical protection. Lovely after time spent outside, and protection from environmental damage such as pollution.
Burdock root is often worked with as an alterative & nutritive Plant ally. They are supportive internally for skin conditions and clearing heat. They are moistening & cooling, making them lovely for red or inflammed skin. They are high in vitamins & minerals, nourishing our skin cells. They potentially help to speed up wound healing, intuiting this information, they may also help with skin damage from stress, and environmental harms.
Myrrh is a beautiful resin, and deeply healing. A few studies have shown potential for increasing collagen production, as well as reducing oxidative stress and free radical damage.
The oils have been intentionally chosen to offer healthy aging benefits, reduce inflammation & promote skin regeneration. Carrot Seed oil may offer tightening & toning to the skin. They also contain high amounts of natural occurring Vitamin A & Vitamin C. Both supportive for healthy skin aging. Sea Buckthorn Fruit oil is one of my favorites & is vital to this formula. They are a beautiful deep orange colour, and offer high amounts of omega fatty acids as well as beta carotene. Potentially supportive for psoriasis, rosacea, acne, as well as reducing inflammation. They are also supportive for overall boosting elasticity of skin, and reducing fine lines.
This serum is essential oil free, the scent is more pronounced this year with Earthy Tulsi and sweet Sea Buckthorn. Wonderful for folks sensitive to strong fragrances.
SUGGESTED DIRECTIONS:
Massage a few drops into your skin morning & evening.
Use after hydrosols (massage the hydrosol into the skin if using after oil), or after moisturizer to protect the hydro-lipidic barrier of the skin.
I like to add it as the last step of my routine. Suitable for am & pm. It takes some time to absorb fully into the skin. I have found it wears well with foundation or concealer, but I let it absorb for about 10 minutes. I find my foundation looks more even & dewy, but of course depends on your skin type & make-up. I tend to have drier skin especially in the Winter. I've been wearing less concealer after working with this serum for 3 months. Will vary depending on the cosmetics you work with. Personally I love the dewy glow, but if you don't like that look it may be best worked with only in the evening. I would say it's a medium oil based serum.
Experiment! Find what works best for you ♥
